Just back from a trip to Nottingham, preparing for Lustre: a contemporary craft fair which will be held in the Lakeside Arts Centre in November.

I haven't visited Lustre in previous years, so it was really good to have the opportunity to see the venue, and meet the organisers and some other exhibitors in advance. Makes it less daunting: this will be my first fair outside London.

Afterwards I had a look around Nottingham city centre. Quite sizeable: a pity about the boarded up shops.

Came home feeling very positive about it all. Lustre is quite close to Christmas, so I'll think about making some special stock for it. I like a project!
